Real Player Now Available in School Computer Lab
Good news, indeed!
If you are unable to access Real Player at home, the Upper School computer lab is now available to you. Here's how:
- Go upstairs to room 214 (Ms. Kutzman's room), and upon entering the room, immediately turn left. On the hard drive of one of the computers you will see a small label that says "USTL6." Sit down with that hard drive on your right and the monitor and keyboard in front of you.
- Plug your headphones into the headphone jack on the left side of the monitor. (If you need headphones, you can borrow them from me, or you can ask Ms. Kutzman if you can borrow the "Shulman" headphones.)
- Log in using your username and password.
- Click on the Internet Explorer icon. (The first time you use it, the computer may ask you about installing an Internet connection for you. If you are unsure as to what to do, then please ask either me or Ms. Kutzman.)
- Enter the URL (Internet address) from the syllabus, and click on the "Listen" link. (The first time you listen to a link, the computer may ask you if you want to set your computer to Real Player or Windows Media Player. Click on Real Player. The computer may also ask you to register your Real Player. Go ahead and fill out the registration, but do not agree to anything that will require you pay money! There is always a "free" option for you.)
Ms. Kutzman's room will often be open before school, during milk break and lunch, and after school. Ms. Kutzman is doing us a favor by allowing us to use her room and her computers, so please treat her with the utmost respect when you do!
Any questions? Just ask Ms. Kutzman or me!
